Messner congratulates long-standing firm clients CDC & RMC on their recent transaction!

Messner recently represented Coors Distributing Company (CDC), a division of MillerCoors LLC, and Rocky Mountain Coors Distributing Company (RMC) of Colorado Springs, in connection with the purchase of malt-beverage distribution rights, inventory, equipment and other assets from Western Distributing Company. The transaction grants CDC and RMC certain distribution rights in the Colorado Front Range.

After 77 years in business, family-owned and operated Western Distributing announced last November it was closing its beverage distribution operations.
 
CDC’s portfolio of brands and representation of suppliers more than doubled to 27 suppliers and 400 brands as a result of the transaction. Exclusive brand distribution rights of CDC include premiere suppliers MillerCoors, Heineken USA, Pabst Brewing Company, Boston Beer Co., Crown Imports, New Belgium Brewing Company, Breckenridge Brewery and others. 
 
RMC added Heineken USA, Warsteiner Importers, Asahi USA, and Sapporo USA brands to its portfolio.
