Andrew A. Smith
Mr. Smith is an associate in the firm's Litigation Practice Group. Andrew protects business interests in lawsuits. Often this involves defending businesses from suits by employees, customers, suppliers, or distributors. It also means finding ways to avoid lawsuits and occasionally using suits to recover funds or protect rights.
Lawsuits can become expensive and complicated, but sensible, practical solutions are achievable. A good lawyer should simplify the complex and protect clients by resolving disputes in a cost-effective way. Using clear, ordinary language is a good start.
When away from the office, Andrew prefers to be outdoors, active or both. Before law school, he spent a lot of time playing baseball, and in law school he took up boxing. He also enjoys volunteering as a mentor and playing with his Rhodesian Ridgeback.
