Leanna Ajour Young
Ms. Young is an associate in the Corporate and Intellectual Property Practice Groups. Ms. Young focuses her corporate practice on business legal matters across the spectrum, from advising emerging and start-up companies on choice of entity to drafting sole proprietorship and complex operating agreements, to assisting businesses entering the public securities market. Ms. Young’s corporate work also involves active mergers and acquisitions practice, as well as the support of clients on a broad range of business-related legal issues, including vendor and consulting contract drafting and negotiation and the creation and review of online privacy and terms of use policies.
Ms. Young’s Intellectual Property practice includes domain name procurement, trademark filings and appeals with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, copyright and trademark advising, protection against infringement and dilution, and licensing agreement creation and revision.
Ms. Young also provides assistance with business litigation disputes, including trade secret misappropriation, breach of covenants, allegations of breach of fiduciary duties, and other commercial litigation. She also has experience with appellate advocacy work, including drafting briefs and delivering oral arguments. As well, Ms. Young assists with residential deed and commercial lease drafting.]
